How it answers

The tutor is grounded in the same attested vocabulary the rest of the site uses, and it's built to say when it isn't sure. Most substantive answers end with a small confidence label — attested, reconstructed, or uncertain — so you know whether a word is straight from a source or a best guess.

The tutor also adapts to which language you're learning, with different source material and citation styles for Elvish, Klingon, and Dothraki.

If something looks wrong

Every answer has a "Report an issue" option underneath it — pick a reason (wrong translation, missing source, typo, or something else) and add a note if you like. It's the fastest way to flag a bad answer.
